About Adjany

"Through my journey, I strive to inspire every Black girl who's ever felt like she didn't belong."

Adjany’s story begins in a refugee shelter in Germany. Born to Angolan parents who fled the civil war in the early 90s, she grew up in modest circumstances. This upbringing strengthened her determination to carve her own path and seize opportunities that once felt out of reach.

Along this journey, her modeling career started unexpectedly when she was scouted in her hometown, Heidelberg. After just one photoshoot, new opportunities opened up in Mexico, where she was represented by local agencies. She soon appeared on billboards, in editorials, and on the runway.

With a Master’s degree in International Management and a long-standing career in the investment industry, Adjany also brings a deep understanding of entrepreneurial thinking. She is multilingual, speaking Lingala, German, English, Spanish, and French and feels at home in projects that bring together people from diverse backgrounds – whether in front of the camera, on the runway, or in collaborative processes behind the scenes.
